The idea behind this board is the environment Jeremy lives in, from the ocean through the redwoods to the tops of the mountains.
I chose graphic novel (comic book) illustrator Jon Wayshak to execute the concept and help give it more of an edge and eshew any "tree hugging hippy" conotations. Caring for and respecting the environment is not solely a "hippy" mentality, it is something we all must be aware of. We wanted to keep this graphic readable hence the use of black and white colors to show the level of detail in the illustration and to clearly tell the story. Then we went a step further and had Jeremy handwrite quotes that we put in a matte varnish layer.
